Give the Gift of Hope
Balancing income and expenses can be challenging at any time of year, but the holidays can be a particularly tough time for women when they are battling cancer. After paying for medical care, deductibles, co-pays and prescriptions, many women face a shortfall for basic needs like food, rent and childcare.
Here’s how your Holiday contribution could help:
- $25 funds a Healing Basket
The Healing Basket provides comfort, offers encouragement and
carries a message of hope to women who are newly diagnosed.
- $50 provides gas or taxi vouchers
Reliable transportation to and from appointments is a must.
- $100 buys groceries
We want mothers to feed their children AND seek treatment.
- $250 pays for daycare or after school care for kids
When mom is busy with medical appointments, reliable child care is a must.
- $500 prevents an eviction
Imagine facing homelessness while enduring cancer treatment.
- $1,000 helps take the pressure off this holiday season
Please consider a contribution to the Patient Assistance Fund so that women don’t have to choose between seeking treatment and having food on the table, childcare during treatments, or a roof over their heads.
Each year, NWHH helps more than 800 women get though cancer. What may seem small to many of us is an incredible gift to those in need. By sponsoring a breast cancer survivor this holiday season, you will help a woman get through her battle with cancer today!
Thank you for helping women get
through breast and gynecologic cancer!

To honor the extraordinary contributions made to Northwest Hope & Healing by the Harrelson family, Chris Moorhead and his daughters hosted the 2014 Northwest Hope & Healing Father Daughter Dance.
Fathers and daughters have much to talk about, worlds to share. Learning to hit a curve ball or make the smart career move—once largely the arena of fathers and sons—is now fully and joyfully shared by fathers and daughters.
Northwest Hope & Healing hosted a special evening for dads and their daughters to celebrate their special bond and create memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the families who joined us for an evening filled with good food, fun music, dancing, and more.

Over the past 12 years, women have been making notable advances in the field of winemaking, and now, some of the most notable and influential people in the wine industry are women. A growing group of young female winemakers has come onto the scene and now run some of the area's most promising wineries. These talented women are influencing the style and the quality of wines in the Pacific Northwest.
In a historic setting with live jazz music from Jump Ensemble, tasty appetizers and a silent auction, guests had the opportunity to meet award-winning female winemakers as well as those who are up and coming in their field and sample their creations.
Participating winemakers included Nina Buty from Buty Winery; Kay Simon of Chinook Wines; Kelly Hightower of Hightower Cellars; Hillary Sjolund of Sonoris Wines; Katy Smith Perry from Tildio Winery; Sheila Nicholas from Anam Cara Cellars; and T. Frick McNamara of Bin 41.
