Father Daughter Dance
The Harrelson Family Legacy continues...
Event postponed indefinitely; Contact info
To honor the extraordinary contributions made to Northwest Hope & Healing by the Harrelson family, Chris Moorhead and his daughters hosted the 2014 Northwest Hope & Healing Father Daughter Dance.
Fathers and daughters have much to talk about, worlds to share. Learning to hit a curve ball or make the smart career move—once largely the arena of fathers and sons—is now fully and joyfully shared by fathers and daughters.
Northwest Hope & Healing hosted a special evening for dads and their daughters to celebrate their special bond and create memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the families who joined us for an evening filled with good food, fun music, dancing, and more.

2015 Alki Beach 5k Walk and Run
The Best Waterfront Route in Seattle!
Sunday, August 23, 2015 • 9am
Join us at Alki Beach to celebrate a survivor, honor someone you’ve lost to breast cancer, and to support friends, family and co-workers!
Our annual 5k walk and run raises money to help provide every day essentials for women who are battling breast cancer.
You will enjoy the sights and sounds of Alki Beach & the West Seattle waterfront on this out-and-back 5k route from the Statue of Liberty at Alki Beach Park & the historic Bathhouse, along the waterfront to Anchor Park.
We encourage all participants to meet a $100 minimum fundraising goal. Although fundraising is not required, we hope you will join us in providing basic needs to women who are battling breast cancer. $25 provides a Healing Basket, $50 buys groceries, $100 keeps the lights on and the phone connected, $250 ensures childcare during treatment and recovery, $500 helps prevent an eviction.
Visit the Alki Beach 5k site to learn more about our annual event.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.

Women Winemakers of the Pacific Northwest
Wine Tasting Event
Fall Date To Be Announced
At the historic Georgetown Ballroom!
Thank you to all who attended our 3rd annual wine tasting to support the Healing Programs of NW Hope & Healing. We appreciate your support!
Click here to watch a slide show of the event.
Over the past 12 years, women have been making notable advances in the field of winemaking, and now, some of the most notable and influential people in the wine industry are women. A growing group of young female winemakers has come onto the scene and now run some of the area's most promising wineries. These talented women are influencing the style and the quality of wines in the Pacific Northwest.
In a historic setting with live jazz music from Jump Ensemble, tasty appetizers and a silent auction, guests had the opportunity to meet award-winning female winemakers as well as those who are up and coming in their field and sample their creations.
Participating winemakers included Nina Buty from Buty Winery; Kay Simon of Chinook Wines; Kelly Hightower of Hightower Cellars; Hillary Sjolund of Sonoris Wines; Katy Smith Perry from Tildio Winery; Sheila Nicholas from Anam Cara Cellars; and T. Frick McNamara of Bin 41.
