2013 Alki Beach 5k Walk and Run

The Best Waterfront Route in Seattle!

Sunday, August 25, 2013 • 9am

Celebrate a survivor. Honor someone you’ve lost to breast cancer. Support friends, family and co-workers.

Please join us for our annual 5k walk and run, sponsored by Sound Orthodontics, as we raise money and awareness to help provide every day essentials for women who are battling breast cancer.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Alki Beach & the West Seattle waterfront on this out-and-back 5k route from the Statue of Liberty at Alki Beach Park & the historic Bathhouse, along the waterfront to Anchor Park.

We encourage all participants to meet a $100 minimum fundraising goal. Although fundraising is not required, we hope you will join us in providing basic needs to women who are battling breast cancer. $25 provides a Healing Basket, $50 buys groceries, $100 keeps the lights on and the phone connected, $250 ensures childcare during treatment and recovery, $500 helps prevent an eviction.

If you haven’t already, register today and join breast cancer survivors, friends, families and coworkers at our annual Alki Beach 5k Walk & Run. Visit the Alki Beach 5k site to learn more and to register for this year’s event!

Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate.

  • Prizes for 1st & 2nd place finishers!
  • Prizes for the largest team!
  • Prizes for the top fundraisers!

Fathers and daughters have much to talk about, worlds to share. Learning to hit a curve ball or make the smart career move—once largely the arena of fathers and sons—is now fully and joyfully shared by fathers and daughters.

Northwest Hope & Healing hosts a special evening for dads and their daughters to celebrate their special bond and create memories to last a lifetime. Please join us for an evening filled with good food, fun music, dancing, and more.

We are already planning the 2014 dance. Details will be announced at a later date. Rainier Golf & Country Club.

Thank you to all the Dads and Daughters who attended the 2013 dance!
