Father Daughter Dance at the Columbia Tower

Special thanks to Stan and Mary Harrelson for their continuing support of Northwest Hope & Healing. Stan hosts an incredibly special evening for dads and their daughters to celebrate their special bond. The 2010 dance at the Columbia Tower Club raised over $44,000 for our patient assistance programs!
Fathers and daughters have much to talk about, worlds to share. Learning to hit a curve ball or make the smart career move--once largely the arena of fathers and sons--is now fully and joyfully shared by fathers and daughters.
Hope Floats Silent Auction

Avalon Glassworks is supporting Northwest Hope & Healing by creating 12 giant blown art glass floats to be auctioned at the July 8th West Seattle Art Walk. TILA Real Estate in the West Seattle Junction will host the silent auction from 6pm to 9pm. These exquisite, 10-inch-diameter art pieces have been specially created and donated to raise awareness for Northwest Hope & Healing, which supports women diagnosed with cancer.
Not only beautiful, floats represent buoyancy. Just as the Northwest Hope & Healing mission is to assist women in the healing process through non-medical support services, floats are literally and symbolically uplifting. Please join us on July 8th.
Breast Health Awareness Night at the Seattle Storm

Thank you for those of you who joined us as we celebrated and recognized survivors in an effort to continue the fight against breast cancer. Your participation in this event helps to support breast cancer patients while enjoying a unique opportunity to experience Seattle Storm basketball. Thank you to the Seattle STORM for inviting us to participate in the event.
SAVE THE DATE for 2011 - Sunday August 28, 2011. The 2010 Alki Beach Run was a huge success! 1,250 walkers, runners, volunteers, sponsors and supporters came out on a beautiful morning for the Alki Beach 5k Walk & Run.
We are so thrilled at the cooperation we received from the West Seattle community as well as the support of our participants. The event has grossed over $50,000, with donations still coming in.
Krieger Dental presented the Alki Beach 5k Walk & Run 5k, on Sunday August 29th. We've taken the best part of our half marathon course and created a gorgeous 5k waterfront route. This year, 1,250 friends, family and co-workers came out on a beautiful morning to walk & run.
Have you always wanted to run or walk a 5k? Join us! Do you want to encourage your kids to be active? Come join us! Want to spend a morning walking with friends? Come walk with us! How about raising money for a great local cause? Here we are!
We've created a flat 5K route (that's 3.1 miles), so join us and experience one of the most beautiful places in Seattle to walk or run!
In the last eight years, over 6,000 participants and volunteers have raised over $400,000 at our annual event!

Anna Goldsworthy, Living BIG Life Coach, and Kelsey Keener from Edward Jones, hosted a special Financial Workshop to benefit Northwest Hope and Healing. Women and Investing, Connecting Values to Goals was presented on September 30th at 5:30pm at the Kent Senior Center. $10 suggested donation to benefit NW Hope & Healing. NiaDivas Nia Benefit

Please join NiaDivas for the 3rd Annual Benefit Nia Class donating proceeds to Northwest Hope and Healing. Nia class led by Lesley Tinker, Certified Nia Instructor.
The Nia Technique is a holistic fitness practice of dance, martial arts, and healing arts. Done barefoot, the movement is semi-choreographed to music with room for self-expression. Aerobic and strength conditioning for the body. Invigorating health for mind, emotions, and spirit.
Donation suggestions: For NiaDivas Darling and Delighted members, the equivalent of single-class membership will be donated. Drop-in welcome, requested donation $15.

Guests and friends of Northwest Hope & Healing gathered at the Columbia Tower Club November 3rd for our annual Fall fundraising event "High Hopes". The evening featured silent and live auctions, our HOPE drawing, a wonderful dinner & delicious desserts. Special thanks to our guests for their generous donation of $100,000 for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients!.
